Family:
My family was a big inspiration for me wanting to pursue a career in the health industry. When my sister was pregnant I would go with her to attend all of her ultrasounds and was with her every step of the way. It sparked my interest in wanting to do something involving kids/infants. I first started looking into becoming an Ultrasound tech. Once I started getting more involved with trying to decide where I would like to go to college and what I want to study for the rest of my life. I noticed that I get fulfilled and joy in simply caring for other people.
Shakira:
Shakira is not only an amazingly talented performer but, she is also an influential individual. In 1997, at age 18, Shakira created a foundation in Colombia that goes by the name of Piez Descalzos/Bare Feet. This organization aims to offer a helping hand to better the education in Colombia. Shakira has fully committed and invested her time and heart into helping vulnerable children in her native country.
